Moner Bondhu, a mental support organisation, held a self-care and mental healthcare session for 185 RMG workers at a factory in Gazipur on Wednesday.

Noting that it was a successful event, BGMEA President Dr Rubana Huq said, “It was our great pleasure holding the session.”

Moner Bondhu's facilitator engaged the participants, 157 women and 28 were men, in a number of stress management and anger management exercises and meditation as quick remedy.

The workers were very excited about experiencing a completely new type of session and they said the exercises could indeed be relaxing.

“At the end of the session, they came to us to for contact numbers,” said Rubana Huq adding that the workers could connect with the mentors by watching an upcoming show on Nagorik TV and through Moner Bondhu's social media platforms.
