A high-level delegation of the National Defence College (NDC) visited the BGMEA Complex in Uttara, Dhaka on 11 June, 2026 to gain insights into Bangladesh’s ready-made garment (RMG) industry and the initiatives undertaken by BGMEA to support the sector’s growth and development.

The delegation was led by Major General Md. Masudur Rahman, ndc, psc. Faculty members accompanying the delegation included Air Vice Marshal Md. Shafiqul Islam, Major General Md. Moshfekur Rahman (Retd.), and Additional Secretary Mohammad Shahin, ndc.

The 150-member delegation comprised participants of the Nation Defence Course-2026, including senior officials from the Bangladesh Army, Navy, Air Force, and Civil Service, as well as foreign military officers and staff officers from China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mali, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.

The delegation was welcomed by BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan. Representing BGMEA at the interaction session were Senior Vice President Inamul Haq Khan, Vice President Md. Shehab Udduza Chowdhury, Director Md. Hasib Uddin, and Director Mohammed Sohel.
