BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman has sought the support of all stakeholders to achieve the target of US$ 50 billion RMG export by 2021.
He said that the aim of the New Board of BGMEA is to move forward and work for ensuring safety and sustainability at the readymade garment industry of Bangladesh. The newly elected Board of BGMEA will take every possible initiative to achieve these goals, the BGMEA President promised.
Md. Siddiqur Rahman made this remarks while he was presiding over a press briefing at the Apparel Club of the BGMEA Complex, Dhaka.
BGMEA First Vice President Moinuddin Ahmed, Vice President S.M. Mannan (Kochi), Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir, Vice President Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu), and all the Directors of the New Board of BGMEA were present at the press briefing.
Former Presidents of BGMEA Anwar-Ul-AlamChowdhury (Parvez), Abdus Salam Murshedy and Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin), among others, were also present on the occasion.
