New leaders of BGMEA take over charges

The newly elected office bearers of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association took over charges of the apparel exporters’ apex forum on Sunday.
At the 28th Annual General Meeting of BGMEA, its outgoing president Abdus Salam Murshedy handed over charges to Md. Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) to lead the trade body for the next two years’ term.
Speaking at the function, the outgoing president said the new leaders of BGMEA would have to face many challenges despite global importers of apparels are intensifying their procurements from Bangladesh.
