Newly elected Board of Directors of BGMEA have officially taken charge of the trade organization for the term 2019-2021.
Outgoing Board handed over the charge to the new Board of Directors at the 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at BGMEA Complex in Uttara on 20 April 2019.
The first session of the AGM was chaired by outgoing President Md. Siddiqur Rahman while the last part was presided over by new BGMEA President Dr. Rubana Huq. The audited accounts of BGMEA for the year 2017-18 were adopted and the budget for the year 2018-19 was approved in the AGM.
The new Office Bearers of BGMEA are Dr. Rubana Huq, President; Mohammed Abdus Salam, First Vice President; Faisal Samad, Senior Vice President; S.M Mannan (Kochi), Vice President; M.A Rahim (Feroz), Vice President (Finance); Arshad Jamal (Dipu), Vice President; Moshiul Azam (Shajal), Vice President; and AM Chowdhury (Selim), Vice President.
