Onus Group, a leading RMG conglomerate, has recruited 9 persons with disabilities in the company with a view to creating  opportunities  for  them  to  earn  a  decent  living and  contribute  to  the economy .
BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman handed over appointment letters to them in presence of Onus Group Managing Director and First Vice President of FBCCI Md. Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) at BGMEA office on 18 July. 
BGMEA Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan, Vice President SM Mannan (Kochi), Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir and BKMEA First Vice President A.H. Aslam Sunny were also present on the occasion.
It is mentionable that already 13 people with disabilities are working in the Onus Group. With new recruitments, the total number of physically challenged workers at the Group is now 22.
