On the 28th death anniversary of Late M. Noorul Quader, we remember with profound respect a true patriot, valiant freedom fighter, distinguished civil servant and visionary entrepreneur whose life was devoted to the service and progress of Bangladesh.

As a CSP officer and District Commissioner of Pabna during the Liberation War, he stood courageously for the cause of our independence and later served as the first Establishment Secretary of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. His patriotism and dedication to the nation remained a defining part of his life.

He went on to live an equally enduring legacy in the economic history of Bangladesh, pioneering the country’s first 100% export-oriented Ready-Made Garment industry through the establishment of Desh Garments Limited. His vision, courage and pioneering initiatives helped lay the foundations of an industry that today stands as one of the pillars of our national economy.

On this solemn day, we remember his remarkable life and pray that his contributions will continue to inspire generations.

May Allah SWT forgive his shortcomings, shower him with His mercy, grant him Jannatul Firdaus and bless his soul with eternal peace.
