On December 01 2025, the SICIP–BGMEA On-Campus Recruitment 2025 was held at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology.

The initiative was implemented by Fakir Fashion Ltd., one of the country’s leading garment manufacturing companies.

BGMEA Director Rumana Rashid attended the event as the Chief Guest, while the programme was presided over by Munir Chowdhury, Chief Coordinator of the SICIP–BGMEA Programme.

In her remarks, Rumana Rashid said: “Skill-based recruitment is strengthening Bangladesh’s apparel sector. The exceptional role that SICIP–BGMEA is playing in developing skilled human resources has created a strong bridge between training and employment.”

In the recruitment process, a total of 50 vacancies were announced across three departments—Merchandising, Industrial Engineering, and Fashion Design. Written and oral examinations were conducted to select qualified candidates.
