BGMEA Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir stressed the need for product diversification to sustain the growth of Bangladesh apparel industry.
"Against the backdrop of increasing production cost, shift from basic to higher-end apparel products will help to boost our export earnings," he said while addressing a seminar on fashion, color, trends and design organized by Messe Frankfurt in Dhaka on April 21.
President of Messe Frankfurt France Michael Scherpe was present at the seminar where French fashion expert Gregory Lamund made presentation on the latest trends on fashion, design and color in Europe.
