A team of MAERSK Group, a renowned international shipping company, held a meeting with BGMEA leaders at BGMEA office on 14 December.
The team includes Julian Michael Bevis, Senior Director, Group Relations, AP Moller-Maersk Group in South Asia; Carsten Matzen, Director of Business Development & Strategy, Asia Pacific Region, APM Terminal; and Videlina Georgieva, Head of Business Development, Svitzer Asia Pte Ltd.
BGMEA First Vice President Moinuddin Ahmed (Mintu) and Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan represented BGMEA at the meeting.
They discussed different issues related RMG industry, including ways to enhance the efficiency of shipping and port of Bangladesh.
SørenRobenhagen, Commercial Counsellor, Embassy of Denmark in Bangladesh, was also present at the meeting.
