Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) donated Tk 25 lakh and 10,000 blankets, 5,000 pieces of sweater to the relief fund of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her secretariat office on Thursday afternoon, as many poor people suffered from chilling cold. A BGMEA delegation led by its President Abdus Salam Murshedy called on the Prime Minister and handed over to her the warm clothes and cheque for the money.
